I’m not even gonna lie to you....as pretty as snow is, I couldn’t stand it! I HATE being in the cold. I couldn’t stand the feel of it underneath my feet. You would NEVER catch me driving in it and the thought of having to get up and go to work in it made me cringe. So it’s ironic that Ive been a bit bummed out that there hasn’t been any decent snow in Chicago. Not even on Christmas! Nothing more than little flurries that won’t stick. No need for shovels and no need to place your buckets and chairs in your parking space to save it. Lmao! Does anyone else do that? The whole: If I shovel this spot, it’s MINE energy. Anyway, I know you’re asking: So why all of a sudden do you want snow? Well, it’s simple. I don’t have to be in it😂 Now that I work from home and make a daily choice if I wanna leave my home, I can appreciate it more. Which I should because there’s so many places & people that don’t get to experience snow. imagine it being 80 degrees on Christmas. Boooooooo!!!! 😂 I love that chicago get to experience all 4 seasons. It builds character 😉
I woke up, made my cup of coffee, open the blinds to witness the most beautiful and serene snow fall. It’s the kind of snow you wanna go outside & stick out your tongue and say “Ahhhhhhhhh” 👅
Huge, white flurries, coming down at a rapid pace from the most grey sky. It’s beautiful and I’m Warm. Fire place on, plants watered, dogs fed.....BLINDS WIDE OPEN. 😍 ❄️ Just like rain, watching this from my window is calming, peaceful. Like the world is still.......just for a moment.
